You can rent a double stroller at WDW. These are quite large and hold big kids too, so that should be good if you can afford to go that route.
Hopefully someone else will have a better option for you Kerrie

We always done 2 strollers. Trey rode in one until he turned 7 and then he started walking more. A cheap umbrella stroller should do him fine, but I would have he ride in it and try it out to make sure he has room in it. My daughter (6) fits tight in ours but she is extremely tall for her age.
Ok its our first time usung this and im not sure what to expect I have read some bad stories. Is there anything anyone can tell me from their experiance? did you check strollers curb side or is it easier at gate? my kids have never been on a plane any tips. I personally hate flying so.. any and all advice is great thanksonly 73 more dayss to figure out all details
You can check the strollers at the gate. Then when you get off the plane you wait in the little circle area right outside the plane door (on the jetway) for them to bring it to you (if it's not already there when you get off the plane). That way you have it for your treck through the airports. Also, I don't think you have to pay for them if you do it this way. But I'd call the airline the day before you leave to check!

We are always heavy handed on the luggage. I just can't pack lightAnd we have had a stroller each trip. We have never had to pay to gate check the stroller. It is easy to do too, so you will love it!
you don't pay to gate check your stroller or your car seat. If you check them curbside or when checking in you will most likely have to pay to check them. Also by gate checking them, after you get thru security you can use them to carry your carryones through the airport to the gate and make them work even more for you.

Definately pack snacks, just not any liquid. Buy that on the concourse...but bring it! We were only allowed one glass of pop on our last trip. And the FA said that they were going to start charging for that!!! C.R.A.Z.Y.!!!
On another note....can you take a booster with you on the plane? We are going to San Diego in May (oh, I can make a ticker now!!) and we'll just have carry on's. But we are renting a car and need to take the booster (rather than pay $15 a day to rent one!). Do I HAVE to gate check it, or can it be a carry on?? Just the small booster seat (just the seat part with arms).....
